Jaidee Wins In Wales

Thongchai Jaidee rode a birdie streak over his final nine holes and held on for a one-shot win at the Wales Open. He used an Odyssey Metal-X 2-Ball Belly Putter to capture his fifth career European Tour win.

Thomas Bjorn closed with a beautiful 68 in rainy conditions on Sunday to move up the leaderboard and finish T2 at the Wales Open with a White Hot XG #1 Prototype Putter.

Jaidee’s Victory Adds To Odyssey’s European Tour Dominance

Metal X Putters

Jaidee ranked second in the Wales Open field in putts per GIR with an Odyssey Metal-X 2-Ball Putter. With his win, the #1 Putter in Golf has now won back-to-back European Tour events. The week before Jaidee won in Wales, the White Hot XG #7 Putter earned a victory at the BMW PGA Championship.

Odyssey Putters have now won 10 European Tour events this year; no other putter manufacturer has more than three victories. Through last week’s event, Odyssey accounted for more than 45 percent of overall player usage on the Euro Tour, more than double that of the nearest competitor.
