Who IS this guy?!!? Branden Grace wins 3rd European Tour title of season

Branden won the Volvo China Open for his third victory of the year with a Black Series Tour Designs #1 Wide Putter.

100% of the time, he wins 20% of the time.

There have been just 15 events on the European Tour this season and the 23-year-old Grace has won 20% of them—3! One-fifth is 20%, right? Yeah, that’s correct.

Odyssey wins on LPGA Tour

The winner of the inaugural LPGA LOTTE Championship on Sunday used an Odyssey White Hot XG Teron putter.

New Odyssey Metal-X Putters gaining a following on PGA Tour
 At the Valero Texas Open this week, there were 7 players using a Metal-X putter, the newest design from Odyssey. They were:

• Stuart Appleby – Metal-X #7 Belly
• Tommy Gainey – Metal-X #1
• J.B. Holmes – Metal-X #7
• Non-staffer1 – Metal-X #7
• Derek Lamely – Metal-X #1
• Non-staffer2 – Metal-X #7
• Non-staffer3 – Metal-X DART

On the European Tour, 12 players used some form of Metal-X putter. By my count, there were also 7 Metal-X putters in play on the LPGA Tour this week.

Lamely switches into Metal-X

More Odyssey news, Derek Lamely came into the Valero Texas Open with the intention of giving Metal-X another try. Odyssey’s tour reps had made him a Metal-X #6 in the past, but in the wider flange didn’t quite fit his eye. After working with a few different models and lengths, Lamely decided on the Metal-X #1. He had his best finish in his last six starts.
