Odyssey held on for its second World Golf Championship winning putter count of the 2012 season with 24 putters in the field at Doral. Odyssey also won the count at the World Match Play Championship in February.

Odyssey staffers in the field at Doral for last week’s WGC-Cadillac Championship included Phil Mickelson, Alvaro Quiros, Fredrik Jacobson, Thomas Bjorn, Alex Noren, Sang-Moon Bae, Garth Mulroy and Branden Grace.

Bjorn using Belly putter for first time in his career

Thomas Bjorn put Odyssey’s White Hot XG #1 Prototype Blade belly putter in play this week, the first time he has used a mid-length putter. He chose the White Hot XG #1 Protype Blade because he preferred the softer feel of White Hot XG insert.
