Odyssey Passes 50 Wins For The Year
With another 3-win Sunday over Labor Day Weekend, Odyssey has now earned 51 worldwide victories across the major golf tours this year. The #1 Putter in Golf picked up wins on the Japanese Tour and Nationwide Tour to go along with Staff Pro Thomas Bjorn’s third win of the year on the European Tour. Odyssey holds a commanding lead in worldwide putter victories, where the nearest putter manufacturer has recorded 33 wins for the season.
Odyssey’s tournament dominance has been apparent on each Tour in 2011. Odyssey putters have won 10 PGA Tour events, including a win with a White Hot XG Sabertooth Long Putter at the PGA Championship. The #1 Putter in Golf has also captured three majors on the Champions Tour, won the U.S. Women’s Open on the LPGA Tour, and won nine of the 19 events played so far on the Nationwide Tour.
And Odyssey has made its biggest impact on the European and Japanese Tours. Our putters lead the EPGA with 13 putter wins, where the next nearest competitor has five. On the Japanese Tour, Odyssey has won 10 of 13 tournaments held this year. Odyssey also leads in putter victories on three of the six major tours in 2011.
