It’s Been a Hot Summer For Odyssey Putters, Staff Pros
While temperatures have soared across the United States, Odyssey putters have cranked up the heat this summer. The #1 Putter in Golf has recorded 16 worldwide wins, countless clutch moments and two majors over the past two months. Our Staff Pros have reached the winner’s circle and Tour players who aren’t paid to play our putters have triumphed at championshipship events.
Since June 1, Odyssey has scored five victories on the European PGA Tour and four wins on the PGA Tour. Black Series i #1 user Alex Noren has accounted for two of those EPGA wins at the Saab Wales Open and the Nordea Masters. Noren’s grown quite accustomed to final group pairings and pressure situations, and his confidence on Sunday afternoons has been a breath of fresh air. The No. 1 ranked player in the world has also won in Europe this summer with a White Hot XG #7H model.
On the PGA Tour, an Odyssey White Hot #2 user has won two tournaments and jumped to No. 2 in the FedExCup standings. Odyssey’s other two PGA victories during the humid summer have come from first-time winners. Fredrik Jacobson made nearly every birdie putt over the weekend – at least it seemed that way – at the Travelers Championship, where he earned a one-shot win. Odyssey has also captured majors on the Champions Tour (Senior British Open) and the LPGA Tour (U.S. Women’s Open) so far this summer.
